As our new Business Developer Own Label Foods, we welcome you to one of our fast-growing and successful divisions. Your main mission is to establish Own Label within our Foods division by developing new products that are tailored to the needs of our international customers. We are a tight team of 25 individuals with a strong commercial spirit and motivation to identify new opportunities. Whether it is about extending our product portfolio or tracking down new suppliers; we never stay still

This is how you tackle your day. You: 

• Source and actively approach new international suppliers and manufacturers in Europe
• Maintain and expand the relationship with your international suppliers. You are closely involved from A to Z, ensuring that the products are delivered as designed
• Maintain contact with various internal and external stakeholders, such as (graphic) design companies and our Sales Manager
• Negotiate prices, payments and delivery terms
• Advise on interesting products and set up KPIs to manage your goals and targets
• Set up and monitor work processes and methods for Product Management and buyers

This is you!

You have experience working in a Own Label team and are ready to set the vision and strategy yourself. You are an expert on market trends and needs. You have a good eye for developing and creating new products and the motivation and power to get things done. You enjoy working in a team environment and getting to know your colleagues on a personal level too.

Desired skills and qualifications

• You have completed a higher professional education (hbo-level)
• You have a good command of English and Dutch
• You have at least 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in Product Management, developing own brand products and Category Management
• You are a strong commercial networker, who also has experience with the sourcing/purchasing of Foods products
• You are result oriented, entrepreneurial and a great conversation partner
• You are aware of competing markets and know how to respond to the needs of customers
