Demand & Supply Planner

Do you get energy from establishing something new and building bridges between different departments? Are you up for a challenge to improve our planning? Then you are our new Demand & Supply Planner!

Apply now

As our Demand & Supply Planner we will welcome you to our Foods division. Your main mission is to align incoming purchases and sales, and balance service and costs throughout the supply chain.

You will be the linking pin between Purchasing, Sales and Operations. Since planning is a relatively new discipline within WCSG, you are an entrepreneurial person with hands on mentality, who is eager to 1) setup new processes, and 2) determine the right tools and procedures, supporting the purpose of the role.

You will be working within a dynamic department. The atmosphere in the team is informal and the team is young, ambitious and international. This department consists of the sections Sales, Purchase and Operations.

As Demand & Supply Planner you work closely with the Purchasing and Sales Manager, the Operations Lead, and the VAS Manager. You will report to and regularly spar with the Operations Lead. With your analytical skills and ability to bring people along in change, you'll add a lot to the team.

This is how you tackle your day. You:
  • Set up a forecasting method and align this with the planning tools in our ERP;
  • Coordinate the best use of warehouses (internal/external) for overall stock management of WCSG;
  • Forecast on necessary capacity on a 1/3/6 month outlook on inbound, outbound and storage;
  • Manage different stakeholders, report the numbers, forecasts and other relevant input in easy-to-digest analyses;
  • Find and adopt the right tools (software, ERP) to support the planning process;
  • Identify process improvements and implement them on a project basis.
This is you!

You think and act like an entrepreneur: you can work independently, but you can just as well think and act as a valuable part of the team. You take initiative, you keep an overview of all your tasks and their relation to the bigger picture. You identify emerging opportunities and when suitable for us, you jump on them.

  • You live in the Netherlands;
  • You have a HBO/WO education/Masters or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or Business Administration;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • You have a minimum of 2-4 years work experience in Demand & Supply Planning in an international oriented organization;
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office, knowledge of reporting tools (preferably QlikView) and ERP (Navision is a plus);
  • Experience in an FMCG company is a plus.
