As a Human Resources intern at West Coast Supply Group you will learn more about all aspects of HR. From recruitment, onboarding, off boarding, general employment practices to administration. This is a hands-on internship in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities being put on your plate to handle simultaneously.


This is what your day looks like. You will be:

Talent Sourcer

  • Use sourcing tools and techniques to search and attract candidates;
  • Maintain database of skilled candidates;
  • Send out bulk emails to prospective candidates;
  • Assist teams in screening resumes, analyzing CVs, and LinkedIn profiles;
  • Promote positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process;
  • Coordinate recruitment events.

Managing the onboarding and off boarding process, including:

  • Drawing up and checking employment contracts for new employees;
  • Registration of new hires in all related software systems and removing terminated employees;
  • Coordination of onboarding and off boarding process.

Completing administration, including:

  • Keeping employment records up to date;
  • Creation, distribution, receipt and filing of contracts;
  • Registration of changes in salary, benefits and employee personal details in our HR software AFAS;
  • Providing administrative assistance with (semi)annual reviews;
  • Assist employees with general questions, including AFAS usage.

Supporting HR team by:

  • Assisting with organization of events, holiday gifts, anniversaries, etc.
  • Creating monthly newsletter.


This is you:

  • You are a third-year student in the field of Human Resources or Psychology;
  • You are available for 5 or 6 months and 32-40 hours per week;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English; another language is a plus;
  • You are able to prioritize your tasks and keep a list of ongoing projects you are working on;
  • You are able to organize your day so that you complete tasks within the requested timeframe, and you communicate any delays beforehand;
  • You are looking for a challenging internship where you are expected to go the extra mile. You are able to work well under pressure;
  • You listen carefully to instructions given, and you are proactive in picking up tasks. You take initiative and you like to learn;
  • You are curious and ask questions. You communicate openly and actively bring issues to the attention of the HR team to get them solved.
