Are you willing to build strong relationships with top-notch retailers, not only in the Netherlands, but also abroad? Then that is exactly what you will face at West Coast Supply Group as a retail account manager.

In our fast-paced international trading team, which covers a total of more than 75 countries in the FMCG sector, your main mission will be to manage the entire relationship with our existing retailers, oversee planning and provide annual forecasting.

For our lively and multicultural Beauty division, we are looking for an energetic person with keen senses and an eye for spotting and winning new business opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead the business with retailers, adding new products, planning new strategies based on special occasions, etc. You will have complete freedom to connect and open new retail accounts anywhere.

Imagine, on a typical day, you:

• Maintain and expand relationships with your retail accounts (online and offline) while tracking account plans, product quality and profitability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment, and delivery terms.
• Adjust based on analysis and reports to improve process efficiency.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing and new retailers.
• Will be fully responsible for negotiations, closing deals, developing account plans, and managing the annual forecast.
• Monitor, analyse and report on weekly and monthly results.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Residence in the Netherlands.
• Technical or commercial background (at least a bachelor's degree).
• Preferable: 2 years of account management. Experience in retail sales or purchasing would be an asset.
• Customer oriented, service oriented, focused, motivated and proactive.
• Knowledge of doing business with retailers and effectively carrying out account management.
• Ability to develop and implement an overall sales strategy, including knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices;
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English. Extra languages will be a benefit.
